My Story

I became a Scentsy customer over 15 years ago when my little sister started her business. I have watched her have fun and go on trips. I finally took the plunge.
I'm going to share my story of how Scentsy saved my life. LITERALLY

One Saturday I had a super fun day working my Scentsy booth at a local event. I was hot, sunburned, starving and tired when I left! But it was a great event and I got to see some friends face to face.

I drove into my driveway and saw the orders that I was waiting for had arrived. Yay! I started unpacking my car and decided that I should take a picture and share it. My phone battery was low and I planned to put it on the charger, but I knew that if I did that then I would probably be too tired to remember the photo.
5-4-3-2-1 I dug my phone out, took the pic, posted it and dropped the phone in my pocket.

I continued to unload my car. As I was carrying my crate of cleaning products in, the board on my porch broke and my leg went through.

IT HURT LIKE A SON OF A GUN! And I was stuck. I could not lift my leg at all. I could not turn. I live in the country. My closest neighbor is across the gravel road and I did not hear them outside. I still hollered HELP just in case. Nothing.

My cat sat at the open front door staring at me. No help there.

Remember that pic I shared? My phone was in the pocket of the leg stuck in the porch. I pulled it out. Now, I do not have cell service here (country life) but I do have internet and FB messenger. So I started reaching out on messenger to get help. Scentsy to the rescue again! My friend and teammate answered and called 911 for me. She also dropped everything and headed my way to help. I so appreciate the assistance in getting the fire dept here to rescue me and finishing that unload!

Taking that picture meant that my phone was in my pocket instead of charging in the house. I could have been stuck until my tenant (who was one of my first party hosts!) got home that night; if she came home at all. I might not have been missed until work on Monday morning. And that does not mean anyone would have checked on me.

I shudder to imagine what would have happened w/o Scentsy and my Scentsy family. Come join me on this amazing journey! You never know how it could change (or save!) your life
